  • A host or hostess to assure the highest quality of waiter/waitress service.
  • A Private Dining Room for special family or social occasions.
  • To ensure consistently good service, a "no tipping" policy.
  • The services of a dietitian will be provided on a regular basis.
  • For special dietary needs, the services of a dietitian are available.
  • For the convenience of our members, guest meals and extra resident meals will appear on a monthly statement, but can be paid for individually upon request.
  • Thirty meal credits per month in the elegant Dining Room. Meals to be selected from a daily menu.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE

  • Weekly maid service in each home.
  • Weekly pick-up, washing, and delivery of flatwork linens.
  • Periodic window washing, carpet cleaning, and other heavy housekeeping.

SECURITY - GATED RETIREMENT LIVING - THE CYPRESS

  • Round-the-clock security by The Cypress personnel.
  • Fire alarms and smoke alarms in all residences, all connected to centralized monitoring panel.
  • Security checks of your residence when you are away.
  • Back-up power system for emergency Health Center and common area lighting.
  • Daily check on residents who request such service.

UTILITIES/INSURANCE

  • Monthly Fee includes electricity (except for cottage units), water, sewer, trash removal, and pest control for homes and community public spaces.
  • Individual heating and air conditioning controls for each home.
  • Insurance paid by The Cypress on residences and common property. (Owner carries a policy on personal property and liability insurance.)
  • Since each Cypress member owns his/her residence, he/she is responsible for property taxes.

HEALTH CARE AND PROMOTION OF WELLNESS

  • Emergency nursing care for residents.
  • Physician referral service.
  • Structured Wellness Programs.
  • Scheduled exercise and fitness classes.
  • 90 days of health care for each Cypress member at no additional cost. After 90 days, the health care facility is available to Cypress members at a significantly reduced cost for as long as the member requires health care service.
  • Participation in The Cypress health care programs.
  • Emergency call system in every home monitored 24 hours a day.
  • Periodic blood pressure screening and cholesterol checks (if requested).
  • Assistance with Medicare and private health insurance claim filing (minimal fee).
  • A health club for individual use.
  • Home Health Care (Fee for Service).
