Our Philosophy

The philosophy of The Preston Health Center, located on the campus of The Cypress of Hilton Head is to provide each individual with an environment and the necessary assistance, which promote the highest level of independence. This commitment to high quality care is also evidenced by an excellent staff-to-resident ratio in our 66 bed, skilled nursing facility, which includes a Medicare distinct unit. Residents enjoy a variety of services and benefits, as well as superior 24-hour care by the staff of licensed nursing professionals in gracious private and semi-private rooms.

Exceptional Care

The Preston Health Center's highly trained staff offer progressive rehabilitative and long term care programs, such 24 hour skilled nursing care to a variety of therapies to meet each person's needs. In addition, short term recuperation, as well as respite services are offered. The professional team includes physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, a social worker, physical, occupational, and speech therapists and recreation specialists.

Special Care Unit

The Dogwood Wing, a state-of-the-art, 11 private room, secured nursing unit is specifically designed to meet the special needs of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or related memory disorders. All staff members have been specially trained to care for and meet the unique needs of the residents.
